I have been a member of the Peninsula Camera Club in Brisbane since 2002. Here is a gallery of images that have won awards in club competitions up until 2019. Some of these of these photographs have also been awarded prizes in National & International competitions

Capturing in (or converting to) monochrome forces the viewer to look at the image in an entirely new way without the distraction of colour. In this way you can hone in on the graphical elements of an image.

Cars, bikes & boats all provide great opportunities for action photography. There are also a few others thrown in for good measure

I must admit I have only dabbled with Infra Red & don't have a converted camera so exposures are lengthy but it is certainly a different & interesting view of the world outside of the visible light spectrum
